Our Story

A one-man band

Sax Sells isn’t a traditional lead-gen agency model.
It’s just me.

You work directly with me throughout, from building the strategy through to executing outreach and supporting the conversations that turn into clients.

No layers. No handovers. No “let me check with the team” Just me and you, working together to figure out what actually gets replies.

A different way to sell

I spent a decade in sales within marketing. I saw first-hand why so many creative businesses struggle with selling.

It’s not a lack of ability, but it’s how sales gets taught.

Generic scripts, templates, and “best practices” works against creative people. The very thing that makes you successful – originality, personality, and perspective – gets removed from the sales process.

You may have guessed that I love playing the saxophone. So much so that I’ve sent sax videos to prospects, and direct mail with plastic saxophones.

These have got a response, started a conversation, and ultimately won clients.

This shapes the thinking behind Sax Sells. Sales works far better when it reflects who you are, not when it follows a script.

Creative outreach

Outreach should feel considered and relevant, not mass-produced. The goal is to start conversations, not broadcast messages.

Personality-led sales

People respond to people. When sales feels natural and human, it becomes easier to build trust and move conversations forward.

Stand out, don’t blend in

Most outreach is ignored because it looks the same. A more thoughtful, distinctive approach gets noticed and gets replies.

Meet the team…sort of
